Foster e Rocco is the collaboration of two friends Adam Foster & Lincoln Riley who have undertaken a project to make the wines that they want to drink; approachable, accessible and above all food friendly. Having spent many years working in restaurants as sommeliers both individuals understand the role food and wine plays in uniting people through engaging their senses.
A desire to create wines that are appealing yet interesting to the modern Australian food and wine lover and a mutual respect for the versatility of both the Sangiovese grape and Rosé style helped shape the Foster e Rocco project to produce a selection of hand crafted wines.

The 2010 Foster e Rocco Sangiovese is NOW RELEASED
Sangiovese – The traditional and original expression of our Sangiovese is treated with a stay in mature French oak and held back for a further 6 months longer than the Nuovo. Exactly the same winemaking process has taken place to that of the unoaked expression and although the wines have similarities they have developed their own personalities.
Intense, bright crimson raspberry in appearance. Fragrant cherry and current aromas are supported with floral, spice and anise accents. Medium bodied palate that is multi layered, streams of varietal cherry fruit leading to dry herbal and savoury notes that area kept in check by sprightly acid and detailed tannin.
There is still some 2010 Foster e Rocco Rose left, but we are selling out fast!
